About Us

Stan Lee - 5th Dan Aikikai (Aikido) and Chu-den (Kashima no Tachi)

Stan Lee is the founder and primary instructor of Kenshinkan dojo.  He has over 20 years of experience in both Aikido and Kashima no Tachi, teaching in the UK and abroad (Norway, Sweden and Poland) as well as attending seminars across Europe as part of the International Shiseikan Budo Association studying with senior Japanese instructors from Shiseikan Budojo (Meiji Jingu, Tokyo).

Having achieved 5th Dan in Aikido and receiving the Chu-den teaching certificate in Kashima no Tachi (from a much older from of swordsmanship) from Minoru Inaba Sensei.  Stan is dedicated to transmitting the breath and depth of Nihon Budo as passed onto Minoru Inaba Sensei by his Kashima no Tachi teacher, Kunii Zenya Sensei.
